Brotherhood Escort: Honoring Those Who Served & Landscapes as a Place for Healing

I recognized that I loved my friend so much that years after they were gone I decided to traverse an entire mountain range just so I could feel a stronger connection to them.
— Josh Jespersen

Last spring NativesOutdoors media partner, Isaiah Branch-Boyle, and friends Josh Jespersen and Ricke Schuler took part in the first ski/splitboard traverse of the Sangre De Cristo mountain range in south central Colorado. The Brotherhood Escort follows two Navy SEALs as they seek to connect with their fallen friends covering 106 miles, 43,315’ elevation gain, over 13 days.

How far would we go for the fallen? The Brotherhood Escort tells the story behind how far some will go.
